What does Contractors Pollution Liability cover?

CPL protects contractors against third-party claims for bodily injury, property damage or environmental damage (including related defence costs) resulting from pollution conditions caused by covered operations performed by or on behalf of the contractor. Target classes include a wide range of construction and commercial services contractors (contractors of all revenue and size), and all construction projects including OCIP & CCIP.

What does Environmental and General Liability Exposures cover?

    • Coverage D-1b: Time-Element Third-Party Claims for Bodily Injury and Property Damage — 20-day discovery/60-day reporting of pollution conditions; definition of insured property includes all premises owned, occupied, rented, or leased by the insured
    • Coverage D-2: Third-Party Claims for Non-Owned Locations — qualified blanket locations included in base form and can schedule additional locations

What is Trade Contractors Pollution and Professional Liability Insurance?

Trade Contractors Pollution & Professional Liability (TCP2) is an innovative new product that combines contractor’s pollution liability (CPL) coverage and professional liability (PL) coverage for environmental and errors and omissions exposures faced by construction, service, trade, and artisan contractors.

What does Trade Contractors Pollution and Professional Liability cover?

TCP2 helps minimize loss from pollution resulting from covered operations and/or claims because of a negligent error or omission in the rendering of professional services.

What is Storage Tank Insurance?

Storage tank insurance provides coverage for clean-up costs, corrective action and third-party bodily injury and property damage claims resulting from pollution conditions from scheduled Storage Tank Systems. Coverage may also be used to satisfy financial assurance requirements. Target markets: Owners/Operators of underground storage tanks (USTs) or aboveground storage tanks (ASTs).
